On ω-limit sets of nonautonomous differential equations

In this paper the ω-limit behaviour of trajectories of solutions of ordinary differential equations is studied by methods of an axiomatic theory of solution spaces. We prove, under very general assumptions, semi-invariance of ω-limit sets and a PoincaréBendixon type theorem.

Some points on generalized open sets

The paper is an attempt to represent a study of limit points, boundary points, exterior points, border, interior points and closure points in the common generalized topological space. This paper takes a look at the possibilities of an extended topological space and it also considers the new characterizations of dense set.

On generalized ω-closed sets

The class of ω-closed subsets of a space (X ,τ) was defined to introduce ω-closed functions. The aim of this paper is to introduce and study the class of gω-closed sets. This class of sets is finer than g-closed sets and ω-closed sets. We study the fundamental properties of this class of sets. In the space (X ,τω), the concepts closed set, g-closed set, and gω-closed set coincide. Further, we i...

Dynamic Systems and Applications 19 (2010) 667-679 ON THE ω-LIMIT SETS OF PRODUCT MAPS

Let ω(·) denote the union of all ω-limit sets of a given map. As the main result of this paper we prove that, for given continuous interval maps f1, . . . , fm, the union of all ω-limit sets of the product map f1 × · · · × fm and the cartesian product of the sets ω(f1), . . . , ω(fm) coincide. This result enriches the theory of multidimensional permutation product maps, i.e., maps of the form F...

On Ω-limit Sets of Ordinary Differential Equations in Banach Spaces

We classify ω-limit sets of autonomous ordinary differential equations x′ = f(x), x(0) = x0, where f is Lipschitz, in infinite dimensional Banach spaces as being of three types I-III. Let S ⊂ X be a Polish subset of a Banach space X. S is of type I if there exists a Lipschitz function f and a solution x such that S = Ω(x) and x ∩ S = ∅. S is of type II if it has non-empty interior and there exi...
